Culture Shift, the third edition of the multi-venue Biennale of Contemporary Native Art hosts a vernissage at Art Mûr today for the Central Pavilion exhibition featuring works by nearly 30 contemporary indigenous artists from across Canada including Nadia Myre, KC Adams, Maria Hupfield and Lance Belanger. 5826 St-Hubert, 3–5 p.m., free

Discover the art and craftsmanship of custom corsetry with tonight’s Pretty Waisted corset fashion show at Mademoiselle, where Montreal’s favourite burlesque stars — including Mimi Cherry, Lady Josephine, Sugar Vixen, Vanilla Bliss and Audrey Ivory — will perform and model the bespoke creations of corset designer Sandra Chirico in a runway show.
