That’s right! On the first weekend of August, Aug. 5-6, Parc Jean-Drapeau comes alive with the third annual Île Soniq festival.

This year’s headliners are dubstep superstar Skrillex, returning with a rare solo performance, Grammy-winning artist Zedd, DJ/producer duo the Chainsmokers, DVBBS, Yellow Claw, 3LAU and Marshmello.

Neon Productions has its own stage this year, featuring Zomboy, NGHTMRE and Bro Safari, indie house artists Hannah Wants, Jai Wolf and Bondax, and Montreal’s own Tiga, who will debut his live audio-visual production at the festival.

Also new this year is a trance stage featuring Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten (who will introduce his alias Gouryella), Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate and Anjunabeats label alumni Ilan Bluestone, Andrew Bayer and Jason Ross.

Dutch producer Oliver Heldens will also play this year’s edition of Île Soniq, on his own stage dedicated to his label and radio show Heldeep, with a line-up co-curated by Heldens. More details about this to come!
