Demonstrations have been happening across the country in the wake of Jian Ghomeshi’s not-guilty verdict last week, and today Montreal gets its turn. Organizers are calling it a Cry-in for the Survivors in the Jian Ghomeshi Trial — a meeting place for those sympathetic to Lucy Decoutere and co., and other assault survivors who’ve been ill-served by the legal system. Phillips Square (Ste-Catherine & Union), 4 p.m.

Check out the a vernissage for a series of photographs by photographers David Dworkind and Matthew Hood, taken during recent travels to Nepal and India.
