Author, director and actress Amber Tamblyn is in Montreal to read from her new collection of poetry, Dark Sparkler, an acclaimed tome about life, death and Hollywood actresses, with commissioned art by David Lynch, Adrian Tomine, Marcel Dzama and Marilyn Manson. Feminist experimental performance art festival Edgy Women throws one last bash tonight before putting the project to bed after 23 years. Tonight’s cabaret-style show will feature performances from NYC’s T.L. Cowan, Toronto’s Alvis Parsley and Judy Virago plus locals Alexis O’Hara, Claudia Chan Tak and Marie La Vierge.
