Tonight’s edition of Arsenal Gallery’s Cultural Tuesday weekly serves as a pre-launch event for the upcoming underground arts festival Art Souterrain, with performance artist Chun Hua Catherine Dong, new media artist Hugues Clément and musician Pierre Villepelet (the Ants). 2020 William, 6–9 p.m., free

It’s the first night of Club Balattou’s 10th annual Syli d’Or festival, offering free performance nights every Tuesday and Wednesday for the next 10 weeks. On stage tonight is Congolese Afrobeat from Tibass Kazematik and Latin jazz and salsa from Havana Mambo. 4372 St-Laurent, 8:30 p.m., free
