Montreal-based Algonquin artist and 2014 Sobey Art Award winner Nadia Myre will give a lunchtime artist talk at Concordia today about her work using participatory and collaborative approaches to conversations around identity, resilience and belonging. As part of Concordia’s Anti-Consumerism Week, the Concordia Food Coalition is putting on a Dumpster Diving Workshop to help you reduce your grocery bills and cut down on food waste. Tonight’s a great chance to check out the festivities around the Quartier des Spectacles, all lit up for Montréal en Lumière with a giant ferris wheel and other fun, games and food.
