Mile Ex cultural space Never Apart hosts an open house today to check out their extensive vinyl archive and DJ room, with an artist talk and Q&A with New York techno label Sonic Groove founder Adam X. Later on, head to 820 Plaza for an NVA Off Site party with Adam X spinning with openers /||\||\ (Milo Reinhardt and Teodoro Zamudio) and Berlin’s Jesse Osborne-Lanthier. Up and coming New York rapper Cakes da Killa takes over the Phi Centre tonight with local openers Wasiu ft. Dear Lola and KD II Times, with visuals by Jason Voltaire. 407 St-Pierre, 9 p.m., $21.25/$16.25 in advance

Over in Mile End, the Body Meta International Discothèque crew welcomes the Zig Zag crew for the last edition of the monthly event for 2015.
