Timber Timbre are wrapping their tour for their fifth album Hot Dreams with three shows in Quebec, including two in Montreal. The band is playing le National (2200 Ste-Catherine E.) on Thursday, Sept. 10 and Saturday, Sept. 12. If you’re not familiar with this biprovincial (Quebec/Ontario) psych-folk/sleaze-rock band, check out their latest video below.

The opening acts are Montreal franco folk band Avec pas d’casque (Sept. 10) and Brooklyn singer-songwriter Eden Sela (Sept. 12).

On both nights, doors open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets cost $27.50 in advance and $30 at the door.

Greenland Productions, who are presenting these shows in conjunction with Blue Skies Turn Black and Evenko, have passed on a pair of tickets to the Sept. 12 show for us to give away. To enter the contest, just email info@cultmontreal.com before 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10 with “Hot Dreams” in the subject line. We’ll select a winner at random and inform them by 5 p.m. that same day. Good luck! ■
