PHOTOS: Defaced federal election signs

From legit protest statements to juvenile hijinx, Montrealers are doing all kinds of things to election signs.

One of the classic cock ‘n’ balls election signs.

Leading up to the Canadian federal election on Oct. 19, signs went up in every riding across the country. As we do during every election campaign, Cult MTL captured what some Montrealers are doing to these signs, whether they’re engaged in civil disobedience, making politically savvy protest statements or simply indulging in some juvenile hijinks.

(Have you seen and photographed any defaced signs we may have missed? You can send them over to info@cultmontreal.com and we will add them to our gallery. We’ll also give you a photo credit.)
