PHOTOS: Île Soniq style

Plenty of festival kids keep it simple in shorts and tanks (even if the shorts show off your underbutt, ladies), but there were other, more striking looks that dominated at the second annual edition of Île Soniq.

For guys, it was arms and faces stacked with kandi accessories — what was once drug-dealer code is now mainstream, unless there were hundreds of dealers on site, which is unlikely — and for the girls, brightly coloured and heavily bejewelled mermaid bras and tutus. For others, it was an excuse to wear matching outfits, costumes, onesies, PJs, kids’ culture brands and, in some cases, almost nothing.
