All goths report to the Sir George Etienne Cartier monument at Mount Royal park for Revenge: The Great Goth Picnic, with music provided by DJ KVK, and the afterparty at Bar Passeport, with DJs Draris, Missing and Ahriman. Picnic at Parc & Rachel, 4 p.m. (BYO food), afterparty at 2037 St-Denis, 9:30 p.m., free before midnight/$5

Editorial Magazine and Yard666sale are hosting a Pop-Up Shop at Espace POP featuring second-hand summer duds and hot off the silkscreen swag from the Editorial team. 5587 Parc, 11 a.m.–8 p.m., free

Nothing says summer like a rooftop terrasse, so head to the B-Side for Daydream featuring drink specials, Dirty Dogs at the grill, and DJs Project Pablo, Thomas Von Party, Ledisko and Francis Oak. Hosted by DL Jones. 3616 St-Laurent, 3–10 p.m., $5. First 100 people get a free cocktail.

A group of artists have repurposed a Mile Ex garage slated for demolition next year into a temporary book store/record store/performance space. 820Plaza launches on Saturday with performances by Antenes and Ammen Borden, followed by an afterparty at Datcha. 6820 Marconi, 5 p.m., free

Atlanta garage rock band the Black Lips are playing Foufounes, with openers Sonic Avenues and the Letouts. 87 Ste-Catherine E., 9 p.m., $15

Finally, it’s time for another No Pants No Problem party, hosted in conjunction with Glam Gam Productions at Bar le Ritz PDB. Wear your favourite undies and leave your pants at the door for this sexy party that involves a kissing contest and queerific performances in an zero-oppression environment. 179 Jean-Talon W., 10 p.m., $5 no pants, $10 with pants
