Today’s Mural Festival and St-Laurent sidewalk sale-related events include live painting by Peter Farmer with Uber (corner St-Laurent & Prince-Arthur), an outdoor stencilling workshop at la Centrale (4296 St-Laurent, 12–5 p.m.), DJ Nosicka hosting Mess Around on the Belmont terrasse (4483 St-Laurent, 3–10:30 p.m.) and an open invite to be part of Atelier New Regime’s photoshoot for their I Am New Regime portrait series (3527 St-Laurent, 1–5 p.m.). Top it all off with a free party at Blue Dog hosted by Moto Made, with Ryan Playground, GrandBuda, Noo-Bap and Robert Robert (3958 St-Laurent, 10 p.m.).

Villeray’s brand-new tool-sharing library la Remise hosts an open house this weekend before Tuesday’s official start date. Say hello, check out the organization’s tool-lending library and workshops and get inspired to DIY. 8280 St-Laurent, 1–5 p.m., free. Continues Sunday with same opening hours.

Did you know that there’s a World Air Guitar Championship competition? Well, there is, and tonight, Quebec’s most dedicated thrashers will compete for the provincial title at the MainLine Theatre, performing their best air riffs in one-minute intervals. Tonight’s winner will compete in Toronto’s national championships in July. 3997 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., $10

If you’ve been feeling a little off-kilter lately, don’t worry, it’s just the full moon happening while Mercury’s in retrograde! Regain your balance by dancing all night at tonight’s Moonshine VII party hosted by Kruger Originals, with music by J.u.D., Pierre Kwenders, Booty Bakery and more. Secret location, 11 p.m., $5–$15
