A few details:

Disco legend Giorgio Moroder will be playing St-Jean Baptiste Church, which will be transformed into what POP calls “a psych disco palace.”

If you noticed former Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore in the list, he’ll be playing the Pathway to Paris concert to raise money and awareness on climate change for 350.org, alongside poet Anne Waldman, local cellist Rebecca Foon and many more artists to be announced.

Minnesota punks Babes in Toyland are reuniniting after 15 years apart, and Harlem hip hop duo Cannibal Ox is also on the comeback trail.

Big-time U.K. industrial band Godflesh and R&B legend Barbara Lynn will be playing their first ever Montreal shows at POP.

Dancehall queen Macka Diamond will play a late-night show with rappers Lady and Junglepussy.

Local chanteuse Coeur de Pirate will debut her forthcoming new record at the festival.

Will Butler will play Montreal for the first time since his pair of sold out record launch shows in March.
