Heart City Apparel launches a new T-shirt design at Instock Showroom with a Maui-themed party with free drinks, special pricing on previous designs and tunes by DJ Hunter S Compton. Proceeds support Nepal earthquake relief funds. 3527 St-Laurent, 6 p.m., $5–$10

Visual artists Mirabolle and Monstr team up for a show opening tonight at Fresh Paint Gallery involving illustrations, paintings and life-size papier-mâché sculpture. Live music by Branche. 256 Ste-Catherine E., 6–11 p.m., free

The seventh edition of the Montreal Turkish Film Fest begins today at Cinéma du Parc, screening I Loved You So Much, an award-winning 2014 drama, with English subtitles. See the trailer here. 3575 Parc, 7 p.m., $12/$10 (students & seniors)

Local electro-pop chanteuse Iris and her band play their first live show ever, with openers Heart Streets, a Montreal rap duo you should check out if you haven’t had the pleasure. La Vitrola (4602 St-Laurent), 8:30 p.m.
