Villeray will be home to a Cabane à Sucre on wheels, hosted by the Landry & Filles food truck in partnership with neighbourhood café Larue & Fils. Bring your appetite to the corner of de Castelnau and Henri-Julien to take part all weekend long. 244 de Castelnau E., 10 a.m.4 p.m., continues Sunday.

The CNTRL: Individuality & Creativity in Technology-Based Music master class and lecture tour is touching down in Montreal today, with a day of free workshops and panels at Concordia, culminating in a talk by electronic artist Richie Hawtin ahead of his nighttime set at New City Gas. In the heart of the Plateau, White Wall Studio hosts a one-day exhibition called ¿Que mas hay? by artist Rodolfo Moraga, which centres around a single, animal-shaped sculpture and documentations of the transformations of the materials that were used in its creation. 4532 Laval, 5 p.m., free

Beaubien’s queer bowling alley bar, Notre Dame des Quilles, turns three years old today and is throwing a celebratory dance party with DJs Frankie Teardrop and Bunny Buns. 32 Beaubien E., 9 p.m., free
