This evening’s Nocturne party at the MAC features music by DJs Heidy P, Frigid and Duvall, with access to the Sophie Calle and Simon Starling exhibits and (for those who want to dig deeper) workshops and a guided interactive experience with the exhibits. 185 Ste-Catherine W., 5 p.m.-2 a.m., $16.80 (all in)/$12 students

2014 Fringe favourite Cirque Prom returns with a pair of expanded multidisciplinary shows (and afterparties) tonight and tomorrow at Bain Mathieu. 2915 Ontario, 8 p.m., show $22–$30, $10 for afterparty only

Local label Emery Street Records presents an “All you can hear buffet” at Mile End’s Nomad Nation, featuring Rogue Sundown, Carlos Veiga, Five Minute Major, the Count Ferrara, Blackvoid, We Are Monroe, Po Lazarus, Eddie Paul and Seb Black. 129 Van Horne, 8 p.m., $10

It’s day two of Quebec stand-up comic Eddy King’s three-night stand at Comedyworks. Warming up the room are Bruno Ly, JC Surette and Steve Patrick Adams. 1238 Bishop, shows at 8:30 and 10:30 p.m., $15

The Loud Lary Ajust show at Club Soda is sold out, but the afterparty at Newspeak is a sweet consolation for fans not holding tickets. DJs Manifest and Kilo Jules spin alongside LLA themselves. 1403 Ste-Elisabeth, 10 p.m., free before midnight/$5 after
