See another secret street art gallery

Wherein over a dozen Montreal artists did what a lot of us have been doing this winter — stayed indoors. But these guys left their mark. Have a look.

Montreal’s graff artists are suffering through the cold just like the rest of us, so when an opportunity arose to paint an indoor space (inside a private residential building), it didn’t take long to bring some of the city’s finest on board.

Cult MTL was invited to document the #hallwayproject earlier this week, and we’re stoked to share with you an album of new work by some of our favourite artists, including Starchild Stela, Spraycam Mastrocola, Fletcher aka Il Flatcha, TurtleCaps and Futur Lasor Now. The building has a history of well-known taggers coming through, so a few old tags from legends like Sake are keeping their spaces. Also on site were some 3D projects including some Boundless Brooklyn water towers, and some new prototypes of soon-to-be-available toys from TurtleCaps.
