Igloofest 2
Igloofest is here

It’s day one of Igloofest! DJs Gui Boratto, Detroit Swindle and Adam Husa (on the main stage) and Fred Everything and Phil Larochelle (on the side stage) will be rocking the outdoor Old Port party, which runs every weekend through Feb. 8. Check out this year’s Igloofest program here. Quai Jacques Cartier, 7 p.m., $20/$45 for a weekend pass

The team behind Desearch Repartment hosts a vernissage at Articule for a month-long exhibition with a series of workshops called Corporate Creativity Workshops for Art, in which artists can learn to take cues from the corporate world of quantifying creativity in a show filled with biting social commentary expressed with a sense of humour. 262 Fairmount W., 7 p.m., free

Maxime Giroux’s film Félix et Meira, the Mile End-set story of a Hasidic Jewish woman and a romance outside her faith (and marriage), screens at the Phi Centre. 407 St-Pierre, 7:30 p.m., $11.25

Divan Orange’s second Levée de son, a show feat. local bands Chocolat, Choses Sauvage and Dear Denizen, aims to raise funds to cover the venue’s many noise-complaint fines. (Read more about that here.) 4234 St-Laurent, 9:30 p.m., $12

CKUT 90.3 FM is throwing a fundraiser party tonight at Brasserie Beaubien, which doubles as a celebration of Art’s Birthday. Expect live sets by CKUT Circuit Workshop, Wiklow, SkinTone, Saxsyndrum (with AP Bergman on vocals) and Nutsak, plus DJ Rehtse Ttelps, cake and more. 73 Beaubien E., 10 p.m., $7$10
