Merry Montreal is the group behind the big show down in the Old Port, featuring live sets by local francophone acts de qualité Alex Nevsky, Bernard Adamus and les Soeurs Boulay, with DJs Ines Talbi and Abeille, a big production for the countdown and fireworks at midnight. Bow Down, the Beyoncé-themed party at Cabaret Playhouse will be bumping with mainstream sounds, but this is no Crescent Street party — it’s welcoming to LGBT peeps of all stripes and colours.
