New Year’s Eve Party Guide 2014

Techno ragers, casual neighbourhood hangs, live jazz, soul, garage rock and psych, karaoke, burlesque, festive feasting and more.

The Great Gatsby

Whatever you do this NYE, don’t stay in. Even if you’re the kind of person who’s out partying and gigging every night — and want to make a point of shunning New Year’s because it’s an overrated, overwrought celebration (which it can be, no denying that) — there’s nothing more depressing than being home alone with the TV while everyone else is out having fun, or at least trying to.

Happy holidays from the Cult MTL team!

Have a great time on NYE, and please party responsibly: eat a meal before you get hammered, keep an eye on your drinks at the bar/club, take public transit or a cab and call Nez Rouge to drive your drunk ass home if you’re stuck out with car.
