If you haven’t yet checked out multidisciplinary artist Graeme Patterson’s amazing installation Secret Citadel at Galerie de l’UQAM, why not go today? The work features incredibly detailed scale models, stop-motion animation, anthropomorphic puppets, a coin-operated player piano and a relatable narrative about growing up and growing apart. Le Bleury’s music-documentary series Hot Butter screens Dédé, à travers les brumes, Jean-Philippe Duval’s 2009 film about Dédé Fortin, the singer for local ’90s band les Colocs, who died by his own hand in 2000.
