Alexandraplatz

Morning in Mile Ex, by Alexandraplatz

Alexandraplatz hosts a Mile Ex block party, packing in food trucks, a night market and music by DJs Noah Bick, Pas cha and Miracle Fortress. 6731 Esplanade, 1–11 p.m.

In perfect timing with our Indian summer, group photography show Oh, Ophelia! collects work depicting bodies in water. Check out the vernissage, where there will be food, drink and music. 201-305 Bellechasse, 6–10 p.m., free

See the ladies of Blue Light Burlesque shake a tailfeather, tassle and pastie in their old-school burlesque spectacle, the first of the season at Café Campus. 57 Prince-Arthur E., 7 p.m., $27.50/$17.50 for students

Local avant-funk band Avec le Soleil Sortant de Sa Bouche have been at it for a few years now, and finally they’re launching a record (on Constellation, no less) entitled Zubberdust! Openers are Bataille Solaire, with DJs Bowly and BRDN (Knife & Fork), too. La Vitrola (4602 St-Laurent), 9 p.m., $7

Get your fill of dancehall, soca and reggaeton at Bruk Out feat. selectors the Salivation Army (her last MTL gig before she snowbirds to Haiti) and Cadence Weapon. Cabaret Playhouse (5656 Parc), 10 p.m., free

Let the Music Play invites party people to step to old school bangers on the water — that’s right, a boat party, with DJs Redd Dredd, Engen and Wreck. Quai Alexandra, 10 p.m., boat departs at 11:45, returns at 3 a.m., $40
