Zombeavers

Today’s the last day of Fantasia — catch repeat screenings of some of the festival’s most popular films, such as Zombeavers and I Am A Knife With Legs. 1400/1455 de Maisonneuve W., various times, $10/$11 per screening

Parisian street artist le Diamantaire gives new life to broken mirrors by repurposing them into diamond-shaped artworks and installing them in unexpected places across the urban landscape. The vernissage for this show at Station 16 happens tonight, and it runs till Aug. 28. 3523 St-Laurent, 6–9 p.m. (See more vernissages & a list of closing and ongoing gallery and museum shows here.)

Catch a free outdoor screening of Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel courtesy of the CCA and the city. CCA green space (1920 Baile), 8:30 p.m., free

Down in Chinatown, DJs Jared W. and Sexlife bring their touring Zig Zag show to Luwan, and they’re describing their sound by dubbing the event “the official afterparty for Kraftwerk’s 1970 performance in a youth centre in rural Germany.” 1050 Clarke, 10 p.m.

DJ Roxy Moron and host with the most Mikey B have been holding down Thursday nights at Rockette for a few months now, but tonight they’re joined by DJ Pat Dynamite, so they’ve renamed tonight’s edition On the Rocks, in memory of Pat & Mikey’s long-running Salon Officiel soirée. 4479 St-Denis, 10:30 p.m., free
