As part of the Omnivore World Tour culinary festival, the SAT’s in-house kitchen, the Foodlab, hosts a Maudit Souper, with music by DJ Pat the Brat. 1201 St-Laurent (3rd floor), 5 p.m.

Toronto gypsy-punk collective the Lemon Bucket Orkestra and Latvian band Forshpil, who perform Yiddish-language songs in a ’60s psychedelic style, play la Sala Rossa as part of the Jewish Music Festival. 4848 St-Laurent, 8:30 p.m., $15

The Peopl’s Comedy hosts a show at Snack ‘n Blues featuring NYC headliner Justin Williams and local favourite Jess Salomon. 5260 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., PWYC

Take in some experimental sounds at Sala’s restaurant space, where Jeunesse Cosmique and Island Frequencies co-present Electrovision of Eurovision 2099, featuring local live acts les Orcs de Cristal, Tankwhale, Velvet Glacier and Così e Così. 4848 St-Laurent (ground floor), 9:30 p.m., PWYC
