He’s the diva-prince of 514 synth-pop, and his sophomore LP, Soft to the Touch, was released on Club Roll Records a month ago. Glitter and glam, sleaze and soul. Nuff said.

5 favourite 2013 things:
Spending a few days and playing a show in Belgrade. Crossing the Swiss border with drugs and not getting caught. Having an affair with a prominent right-wing politician. Having an affair with an award-winning pro athlete. Getting turned on to Alan Vega’s Saturn Strip.

Holiday plans?

Not much—probably just hanging out with friends. Contrary to popular belief, I do not attend most parties that I get invited to. I’m more of a homebody, and I enjoy doing nothing.

NYE 2013:

Either staying home alone or find a party and do lots of drugs.

Best NYE ever:

Spending Y2K alone at my cousin’s house in New Jersey.

What’s up for 2014?

Probably more music, but then again I’m not even sure if I want to keep making records—I keep changing my mind. ■
