Get your tickets for the Cult MTL // TedxMontreal After-party! Make face-to-face connections with locals and conference speakers, and enjoy music by DJs A-Rock and Shaydakiss, presented by Pop Montreal. From today until Oct. 11, the Cinémathèque québécoise will be screening all of Quebec filmmaker André Forcier’s films starting with Le Retour de l’Immaculée Conception. 335 de Maisonneuve, 6:30 p.m., free, with André Forcier and Jacques Marcotte in attendance.

Director Helen Doyle will be in attendance for a screening of her film Frameworks at the PHI Centre. It explores the idea that we’ve become desensitized to images as we’re bombarded with them daily — especially those of conflict and its aftermath. 407 St-Pierre, 6:30 p.m., $11.25
