Winter in the Blood

Shake off your hangover at Divers/Cité’s Sunday Brunch. Les Éclusiers (400 de la Commune W.), 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

Or head directly to Le Grand Bal to shake it to DJs François K, Horse Meat Disco, Will Automagic and Jojoflores. Quai Jacques-Cartier, 2 p.m., $15 + fees or free with festival pass

It’s the last day of Osheaga, and of course it’s sold out (though the scalpers are lined up outside Parc Jean Drapeau metro, if you’re desperate and have lots of cash to burn). If you have your tickets, check out our recommendations here. And either way, consider the afterparty, where members of Hot Chip and We Are Wolves will be DJing. Festival: Parc Jean Drapeau, 1 p.m. / Afterparty: Corona Theatre (2490 Notre-Dame W.), 11:30 p.m., $17

You can check out the closing film for the First Peoples’ Festival Winter in the Blood, an adaptation of the James Welch novel, starring Chaske Spencer (Twilight New MoonEclipse, Breaking Dawn). Cinémathèque québécoise (335 De Maisonneuve), 6:30 p.m., $7–8

Montreal Improv 3rd Imrpo-niversary fest closes out with the SuperSunday improv bash. Montreal Improv Theatre (3697 St-Laurent), 8 p.m., $4

Punk rock festival RRRÖÖÖAAARRR closes with Goosebumps, SQRM, Warthog, Omegas, Hoax and Negative Approach. La Sala Rossa (4848 St-Laurent), 9 p.m., $25
