Have you been downtown recently? The Jazz Fest has taken over the Quartier des Spectacles, from the Place des Festivals to all the surrounding venues. Downtown is literally stinking with Jazz, especially after yesterday’s smog.

We recommended most of these shows in our newspaper, To-Do List, music columns and our piece about actual jazz at the Jazz Fest. But in case you missed all of these great acts — or if you didn’t, but had a shit view — here’s a look at the cream of week one, captured by Cindy Lopez.
