Women on bikes celebrated at Alexanderplatz 5 à 8

People of (and who frequent) Verdun: You can now order a beer at an honest-to-God bar in your beloved borough — that bar being another branch of microbrewery Benelux, the first to receive a permit, apparently, since 1875. So go get shitfaced. 4026 Wellington

Raise a glass and savour some eats by Szef Bartek at a celebration of ladies on bikes part of the first annual Semaine du vélo urbain de Montréal. Alexanderplatz (6731 Esplanade), 5–8 p.m.

It’s a double graphic novel launch for two artists whose work has been translated for the first time. Conundrum Press and Koyama Press team up to present Journal by Julie Delporte and The Library by Hong Kong’s Chihoi. Librairie Drawn & Quarterly (211 Bernard W.), 7 p.m.
