Put on your best green jacket and hat and head down to the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Along St-Catherine from Fort to Phillips Square, 12:00 p.m., free

The FIFA festival of films on the arts screens Hey Boo: Harper Lee and “To Kill a Mockingbird”, a documentary about the famously reclusive To Kill a Mockingbird author. J.A. De Sève Cinema (1455 de Maisonneuve W.), 4 p.m., $12.44

The CineClub/Film Society screens 1964 Canadian classic The Luck of Ginger Coffey (directed by The Empire Strikes Back’s Irvin Kershner and starring Jaws’ Robert Shaw), with vintage downtown Montreal on display. VA Cinema (1395 René-Lévesque W.), 7 p.m., $8/$6 students.

A$AP Rocky plays the Bell Centre tonight with someone by the name of Rihanna. 1909 Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal, 7:30 p.m., $48.50 – $165.50

From the Maritimes, bridging “feathery folk and a total sludgefest,” it’s Jon Mckiel, playing Brasserie Beaubien with Big Brave, Quaker Parents and In Hock. 73 Beaubien E., 9:30 p.m., $5 (“or best offer”)

Petit Core? It’s the name of a DJ night where Babi AUDI and BB Cream spin “tweencore, speedcore, kidz bop and toddler runway.” It’s at Casa, so take that description with a grain of salt. 4873 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., free
