Doldrums launch Lesser Evil alongside Blue Hawaii tonight

The Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois rolls on, screening the best local films of the previous year. Tonight, catch Denis Côté’s boldly bizarre animal doc Bestiaire (Quartier Latin, 350 Emery, 5:45 p.m., $10) and/or Rafaël Ouelett’s ultra-realist drama Camion (Quartier Latin, 7:45 p.m., $10)

In these times of linguistic squabbles, underground film series The NOAH offers something for everyone: a Québécois-dubbed version of John Waters’s Polyester.
