It’s the first day to check out the ninth edition of Souk@SAT, a huge weekend-long, curated bazaar of local design, fashion, art and craftwork that you can buy directly from the hands that made it. On through Dec. 2. SAT (1201 St-Laurent), 12-9 p.m., free admission 

Once again, it’s Dime time. Dimestore, our city’s foremost crew of skateboarding scumbags, premieres its third video, Turd Season, tonight. Expect gnarly skating and shitbaggery of all sorts, along with DJ sets from Tommy Kruise and Kaytradamus. Olympia (1004 Ste-Catherine E.), doors at 10 p.m., video at 11:30 p.m., $12 at the door

The vernissage for Amalgamation’s debut exhibit is tonight, featuring new works by Sophia Paleotheodoros, Liliane Jolivet and Kerri Beauchesne. Montreal Art Centre (1844 William), 6 – 10 p.m., free

Hit a pop-up shop by TKLR Vintage, which is kicking off its new used duds brand. The Backroom (118 Ste-Catherine W., #305), 7 – 10 p.m., free admission

Help the Southwest’s Centre St-Ambroise celebrate five years, and have a couple of the freshest pints available while you’re at it. Music courtesy of Cécile Doo-Kingue, Rob Lutes et al, as well as snacks and door prizes. Centre St-Ambroise (5080A St-Ambroise), 7 p.m., free 

Have you been cultivating a killer ’stache all month? Groom it up nice and bring it to Movember Canada’s gala at the Rialto, where you can win contests, watch the band Madame Moustache and impress the ladies (and gents) before tomorrow’s shave. 5723 Parc, 9 p.m., $20

Four hot bands, namely Solar Year, Technical Kidman, Doom Squad and Marble Lion, play the launch of Midnight Sun, a magazine linking the music scenes of Montreal, Berlin and Reykjavik. Eastern Bloc (7240 Clark), 9 p.m., $10
