Over at Fantasia, Jennifer Lynch and co-writer Damian O’Donnell will be on hand for the world premiere of Chained, Lynch’s contribution to film’s serial killer canon. Hall Theatre (1455 de Maisonneuve W.), 7:10 p.m., $9/$10

Pirates of the Lachine Canal and Loose Fit bring a little alt, in the form of Dope Body, Ultrathin and Plush Kitty, to an old-school Québécois tavern. Brasserie Beaubien (73 Beaubien E.), 9 p.m., $5

Whether or not you went to Osheaga this weekend, the invitation’s open for the afterparty, with DJs Mathieu Beauséjour, Speechless and guests. Panda Bar (2021 St-Denis), 10 p.m., free
