Political wiener dogs

Yes, the election campaign is still going on. Even on a hot Friday, when most cubicle dwellers are pretending they’re busy as they prepare to fuck off for the weekend, our province’s esteemed political leaders are having at it at each other’s expense.

Yes, the election campaign is still going on. Even on a hot Friday, when most cubicle dwellers are pretending they’re busy as they prepare to fuck off for the weekend, our province’s esteemed political leaders are having at it at each other’s expense.

Like Jean Charest. He’s telling anglos that he values their votes, and reminding them not to trust that rascally François Legault. For what it’s worth, the Globe and Mail says, he might want to try extra hard to woo voters in Laval. He should consider holding a rally at Fuzzy.

And then there’s this guy. He’s not quite a leader, but he is a Union Citoyenne du Québec candidate taking on the Liberals in Outremont.

But, really, it’s going to be a hot weekend. Go watch a wiener dog race or something. ■
