WIN tickets to YES Montreal’s Business Skills for Artists Conference on Friday

YES Montreal — an organization that assists young people seeking jobs, and provides support for entrepreneurs, artists and mentors —  is presenting the 14th annual Business Skills for Creative Souls Artists’ Conference and Art Expo this weekend.

The day-long conference will take place at Montreal’s St. James Theatre (265 St-Jacques W.)  this Friday, March 20 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.. The event promises to “foster learning, exchange and informal networking between emerging and established artists and cultural industry stakeholders.” The conference’s keynote address will be delivered by Quebec-based Algonquin multidisciplinary artist Nadia Myre, winner of the 2014 Sobey Art Award competition.

Tickets for the conference cost $35, but YES Montreal has passed along two tickets for us to give away. To enter the contest, simply email info@cultmontreal.com by noon on Thursday, March 19 with “YES Montreal” in the subject line. We will choose winners at random and inform them by 1 p.m. that same day (Thursday, March 19).
